Ummmmmm... It's Galaga! :)

Deadline for high scores is May 26, 2011. Start on the default difficulty level, do not use continues.

Scoreboard:

roadrunner 97,580
zylon 25,240

Hints & Tips:

On the first stage let your fighter get captured.
Then try to get it back. It's alot easier with dual ships. ~ roadrunner

I'll load up the emulator later. I figured I'd give the actual GG a go!
That'll be a tough one to top.

I actually did worse that way and even more so on emulator. I got further on emu, but much less pts. Made it to some big boss thing for the first time ever and got promptly killed by it.

You get like a 20k point bonus for beating that boss. :)
Shoot at him for a bit then move over to the side to avoid those little things that fly around then go back and shoot him some more,
repeat these steps to beat him. :)

You ever play Deluxe Galaga for the Amiga. It's pretty good. :)

Nope. Never had an Amiga. I have a wierd off-shoot of Galaxian/Galaga called Galaxian Artillery for C64. It reminds me of the vertical stages in Vanguard.

I've never played Galaxian Artillery. I've played the C64 Galaxian clone called Galaxions.
It's not bad for a clone.
