Received my jaguar cd today in mint conditions was so happy.

Plugged it in and bam, disc not spinning. It didn't seems to try to spin. I had a similar problem with my sega cd (solved changing the power adapter) and with my 3DO (solved openning and cleaning it).

I've opened it and I see the laser moving but I don't sense any kind of power going to the cd spinning.

I tried lifting it up but it didn't result in it spinning :(

Is there any other workout or should I buy a replacement transport ?

Glad you got it working  You may think it's stupid but for the rest of who may experience something similar to you, what did you do to fix it?

The grey thing.. that spins the disc.. pull it really hard until it's about 1 or 2 mm from the cd plate, that's all.

I saw that in another thread here but it wasn't working, until I put a lot of strenght and it made a PLOCK noise and started to work :)))

Yep, typical problem with these units. It may only be a temporary fix though and you might have to crack it open again in the future. :|
