There are a two versions of the game, one has the fixed sounds effects (and colours?)

Play on beginner I think it goes up to champion after you beat it [no autofire!]

Thanks for posting links to corrected sound versions. I had no idea these existed. I +1 repped those in the polling thread for pointing that out to me too. These fixed versions are music to my ears.

had a couple of 26~K goes got to level U, but then cracked it and got through to S on the 2nd round... 61,350

not played Moon Patrol for ages, it's quite a nice game, gradual increase in difficulty etc... wonder what happens after beating 2nd round (red buggy - assuming this is champion level)

24350. Still bummed that I missed out on DF2 in the last round. My fault.

What's the deal with the # (pound) and * (asterisk) on the title screen. I know this came out for 5200 first (or at least I think that) but wouldn't they want to change those to START and SELECT, etc. Seems like a rush job. I'm playing the actual cart.

fres - re the keys - try pressing break during play! There'll be a catch up round at some point.

innuendo - glad u liked GSB in the end, yes its nice playing games that others have suggested *, you can add any you like to the games list. You're doing pretty well so far this season, you're up to 9th in the table already

* I would not have played Moon Patrol again but it is perfect for the HSC, going faster to get more points makes it more fun... had a few goes today slight improvement: 64K

you're happy for me to join in then I'll try to keep an eye on the forum and post some scores when I can.

I did dust off Joust a couple of weeks ago but didn't get round to posting my highest score before you finished playing it. I've played Moon Patrol a few times and my highest is around 27k, I'll try to beat that and post a screenshot

Welcome McKong, new players always welcome, especially ones with a cool name and photo feel free to post scores for any games you have missed and I'll get you a few points on the board to get you started. Where did you hear of us?

Tips go fast and break when you need to shoot and as soon as you hear aliens, if the indicator is red it means their missiles make craters

He wasn't joking either !! Still, 23,000 is a little better than my previous 2150. Given that it was scored until exam conditions (does that adequately convey the feeling of having someone scrutinising your every stick twitch and button mash?) do I get away without posting a screenshot (it is 5 megapixel - and a tad shaky!)

As much as I'd like to say I've finished the champion round... I didn't but improved (one small step for man one miniscule leap for atarikind?) to 64,300
