Ever since I saw that Imagic documentary that mentioned Data Age as being next door to Imagic, I've been curious about the history of the company.

Has there been any former Data Age programmers show up here on AA, or elsewhere? Do any former Imagic programmers know anything about Data Age?

If you were some way responsible for Airlock, would you resurface in this scene? I feel dirty reselling it to others when I get one in a lot or find it at a used game store.

I actually kind of like Airlock, though I like it from the "I paid a buck for this game" perspective, not the back-in-the-day, full-price perspective. I like Bugs too, as a very simplistic twitch game. Sssnake, on the other hand, is one of the worst commercially released games I've ever played.

Or Sssnake, possibly the worst game ever released for VCS.

The programmer for Mythicon did do a DP interview once (on offense to the guy, as he seemed pretty cool in the interview).

Surely the programmers can't be THAT ashamed not to admit it. Data Age didn't make the WORST games (Sssnake being the exception here). They actually made some decent games.

Designing a third of their games to be used with paddles covers a multitude of sins.
