I know this isn't the best place to ask, but I figured I would give it a shot. Is there any way to mod the Dreamcast to do away with the splash screen and just go straight into the game?

My guess is no. I believe this is where the system loads the OS (The OS was packaged on each disc and I'm pretty sure it has to be loaded before anything else). I could be wrong though.
