Have you tried powering the Jaguar on its own with just the power pack form the jag CD?

One of your power supplies is either not working or not giving enough power to the CD drive. Try switching the power cords from one unit to the other. If the Jaguar will not boot up with both of the power supplies you may need a new one.

there has to be a game in the Jaguar console for the power to come on, not sure if you knew that already. Good luck

Check the solder points for the power connector on the JagCD board. Could just be a bad connection there.

Ive had this happen a few times on some Jaguar CD's I've refurbished most of the time the CD motor on the Transponder is burned out or one of the solder points on the transpond motor or laser has come loose. You will notice there are small cables that go with it.

That icon you see means power isnt being received by one of the Jaguar CD components not just the Jaguar CD itself.

Their are two motors
one turns the cd which is the one that goes out the most often and the second smaller one that moves the laser back and forth

I've also seen that screen come up when there is a bad connection on the cartridge interconnect board in the Jag CD unit. Twice, actually. Removing, cleaning, and reseating that board fixed it both times.

Something the actual Jaguar CD lid doesnt seat right on that little switch that is suppose to let it know the CD lid is closed. Close the Jag CD lid and try making sure it is seated securely. Or hold the switch down manually and see if that is the problem.

When you post stuff like this you might want to take a moment with MS Paint or somesuch and circle the actual area you are specifically curious about. All we see is a long splaying circuitboard.

From the photo they look fine. As for the motors you wont know if they are dead or not till you supply power to them. If the CD lens moves back and forth when you power on the Jaguar but the cd spindle motor does not move then the motor for the spindle is confirmed dead.
