Hey guys.
I haven't gotten around to updating my MAME in a while (I run 138.3) but there's a problem where a handful of games, like Galaga, Dig Dug, and Pig Out! won't run and I get the message "out of memory". Not sure what that means but I never used to have that happen on my older versions of MAME. Wonder if anyone else had had this happen and/or knows if MAME fixed this in a future version.
Thanks for any input!

...does this happen AFTER you've played something else? Try closing MAME and shutting off the computer and then power back up, start MAME and play one of the games that won't work. You could also try Game Booster by IO BIT...

Tried that, thanks. Haven't been able to find much info on it myself. I've never heard of Game Booster, I'll have to look it up.
Thanks!

I just found out that it's been fixed as of one of the MAME 138 versions. It went buggy when the cheats were on. Take off the cheats for those particular games and they work fine. I tried the newest MAME and it froze while running an audit for new games. I think I'll stick with the older MAME.

I run MAMEPlus v122 and I think it works great. Honestly, find a version that works and leave it alone.

I just got UI32 of 142 to work okay. It went buggy at first, then I rebooted the cpu and it worked fine. A number of things have gone wonky lately and then clear up when I reboot. Strange!
