Mangia 2600 pcb DOA

Received boxed cart in the post today - cart is pretty much untouched condition.
It is a PAL cart but it does not work on my PAL system,,,, opened it up - looks pretty fresh inside...
bit rot? any tips to getting it going again?

Try cleaning the connector edge with a pencil eraser.

You could try a very, VERY fine grade of sandpaper. It has worked for me as a last act of desperation in the past. Otherwise, I would have to say its' goose is cooked. Posted Image

This makes me wish I knew how to desolder chips and program EPROMs, because I'd love to make a repro cart of Mangia (NTSC) for my mom, who really likes the game!

Next step is to download the rom and then burn an eprom and swap it out!
These spectra things are prone to bit-rot..
