I think it's great if people buy from Nick. I have not had time to service the dealer orders yet, so it will probably be about two weeks before Nick has it in stock.

Fantastic Job Carl! It's unbelivable that guys like you still support a supposed dead system after all these years! I'm gonna show the game to my friends at a swiss game party we're throwing!
2nd voxel based game on the jag, fantastic!!!

That's fine, I've been waiting this long, a couple of weeks more isn't a problem.

Thanks for posting that. That landscape looks pretty good. Does the engine use Voxels?

Does the Jag version feature anything that the PC/Mac 3DO or other versions don't? I remember picking up a copy for the Mac on 99 cent closeout someplace around 1999 or so and the game was incredibly slow and very pixelated, even for that era. I wonder if the control scheme uses the control pad like a mouse or if it has more Jag-specific controls.

Nice work. Makes me wish I hadn't unloaded my nearly-complete Jag collection a few years ago. Hope whoever bought it is still enjoying it.....

The shot of the case/manual/CD pushed me over the top. Order submitted. Very well done Carl!

Oh, boy!
Jus two days off AA and look at this!

I was sure Carl had something really big up his sleeve, since we didn't hear from him for a nice while...

Now, I am in doubt whether ordering from Carl himself, since I always had a nice experience buying directly from Songbird, or waiting for Nick.

Time for special price is running out, and I don't have enough details about Nick's deal. Can someone update me?

Only 24 hours left for the promotional price of $49.95! Check out the official info page on Robinson's Requiem, and place your order now. Thanks again to all the fans who have already shown their support by spreading the word or placing an order!

By the way, I'm trying to keep up with orders, but am currently running a couple of days behind. Thanks in advance for being patient. :)

I poked around Eversims website. Man they are all out on the simulators. That GeoPolitical one must be huge.

What era? 99? Or are you referring to the early 90s? I think that is when RR was released was pre-1994.

Pre Order Page UP

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This is the pre order for one of the most awaited games for the Jaguar CD and available at a Pre Order price £39 instead of £45
Thanks to Songbird we now have Robinsons Requiem. (Thanks Carl).

The action unfolds in the middle of the twenty-second century, at a time when the Earth and some of its colonized planets are already over-populated. Robinson is the nickname given to members of AWE - Alien World Exploration - a military body whose task it is to explore totally unknown planets.

You are a Robinson. Your last mission takes you to an uncharted planet where something goes horribly wrong. Now you must survive the harsh environment and somehow make your way... home.

Features:

Fully explorable 3D environment encompassing 3 square miles
Rendered and live actor video sequences
Dozens of items to collect, use, and build
Sesame mini-computer which tracks your health vitals and maps the area around you
Memory Track support for saved games

The latest copy of ReViVal will also be added to the order FREE as a thank you for your support and a FREE print of the AWE manual.

Not the best, but here is a quick and dirty video of the intro (forgive the end, I was trying to grab the controller to get it to the start screen)... Also linked out to the Songbird page Robinson's Requiem info page.

Thanks. If you can do a vid of the in-game action that would be even better, I'm really curious to see how it looks as that old video from years ago with about 15 seconds of game play at the end suggests it performs better than most if not all other versions out there.

just wanted to get a video up quick of an actual Jag playing the intro. I know it's not the greatest.

Does the fmv pause in the middle of that first encounter to load?
