This game would be really good if the control was better. Each time I was killed was because I got stuck.

Tutankham: 687

How are you guys pronouncing the title? I'm pronouncing it Toot-an-kom. When I was a kid, I called it Tut-tank-um (I know that's wrong).

Good question. I always thought it was Tut-tank-ham
But i just watched a video on youtube and the guy pronounced it Toot-an-kom.

This is the Odyssey 2 version,

Agree with control problems. I always accidently use the flashlight, which pretty much makes it impossible to top my old score if I do it more than once.

Plus, It take me about 50 warm up games to get the controls down somewhat.

Nice score in Bank Heist! My tactics for Level 8 in this game worked very well!!
And nice score in Tutankhan! Looks like you beat Todd Rogers "Mr. Activision" score: 3,532!!Congrats!!
Yes, that Bank Heist suggestion was great! However, now the game has lost its appeal to me. I liked it better knowing there was sort of an end to the game (when the difficulty simply got too high/impossible). Then, the goal was to use strategy and skill to maximize your score until the inevitable end (kinda like Fathom and other games). However, now the score is only limited by the amount of time I have to play it.

I was pretty happy with my Too-Tan-Kham score (that's how I say it). My best as a kid was 3226 and I always have a goal to beat my childhood scores. :)

I always said either (To-tank-em) or (Too-tan-kam) don't matter what it's called cause looks
like history was just made AGAIN... by (2) points, The price of 2 snakes! Not that my scores gonna last but...

nice score in Tut Jacob! Did you beat level 4 in round 4? It's almost impossible to beat level 4-3 and 4-4 without using flash.

Edit: Actually from looking at the photo probably not, lol.

Thanks and nope I didn't, I was saving that for TODAY! ;)

4,436

SOLVED ALL 4 ROUNDS...!!! Lost round 5, level 2... on a STUPID mistake "I rushed it".
I could have kept going.

The difficulty stays at (4) I think, I dunno maybe even faster!

Oy! Throwing away double-score week here: I got a Harmony for father's day, and spent days prior setting up my SD roms, and days since playing, so... I have a tiny bump for Tutankham from last week - 1390 - and nothing else.

Maybe I'll get some Gorf in tonight...

[edit] Gorf: 10,100. Possibly the worst collision detection I've ever had to deal with in a slide-n-shoot...

talking about stage 3 and 4 in Gorf? Stage 4 It often seems like I hit through the open hole but the games says otherwise

I can forgive the fourth stage, but in the 2nd and 3rd stages both the ships and my shots move so quickly they continually jump through each other without a hit, while the enemy shots throughout are recognized as far wider than they are displayed - in terms of intercepting my own. That, or I'm just cranky that I'm no good at it!

New score for Tutankham and Gof. Took a picture if anyone cares. Didn't take one of Gorf because it was such a minor increase.

Tutankham: 1,583
Bank Heist: 47,640
Gorf: 17,000
Journey Escape: 570,500

ah Gorf

Stage 1 works great and is alot of fun
stage 2 works great for me and is my favorite stage
stage 3 is fun but I often hit the enemy and nothing happens, wtf.
Stage 4 you need instant replay to tell but they sure are picky. I've must of said "Oh come on or WTF it should be dead", about a million times during that level.

I like the game but it can be very frustrating. I would give it a B-.

I played Gorf yesterday but always ended up just behind my best 28ks score here,
no improvement I got... 24ks 25ks, 22ks, 27ks... GRrrrr!!

I agree with the stage analysis and the grade there. B- for me too. For 2600
and third party games, it's very good. CBS does pretty decent games overall.

Same thing happened to me, sometimes in stage 3 I sworn I hit it down, or looks like I didn't, but I did! Then there's the time you get "hit" in stage 3 and didn't see it coming, an invisible lost of a life.

The final stage is what always does me in though, it is picky... it has to be perfectly in the center OPENING space of the ship.

It wasn't until this VP that I knew in Gorf you're supposed to shoot the opened space between the ship!!!! I was Gorf illiterate for years!

The Funny thing about this Pack is I thought Tutankham was a piece of shit and the worst game of them all. I'm still not crazy about the controls but it's very addicting and probably my favorite of them all. Bank Heist is a close second but I'm much worse at that game.

I guess it only took about 1 million games to get the controls down, lol

Okay, my score for Gorf is 3,700.

I'm sorry, but I'm not doing Tutankham. It's a piece of crap game I'm not willing to play.
