:( Does anyone have or know of a cheap Atari 7800 control deck (working OR broken) with the plastic casing in ok condition, just without any major scratches, chips, dents, or cracks? I have a 7800 but the entire top-left corner has been (melted?) and/or chipped off.

There's one in the Marketplace for ten bucks, looked to be in better shape than yours sounds.

Was it a yard sale find in that condition?

I've seen some on eBay recently "for repair" that appeared to have a good case. Most of them came with PS and controllers, and went for $10-$20+shipping. Just the PS and controllers could be worth it.

I'm confused. Where is the Marketplace? I got it on Ebay for about $36 (it was the cheapest at the time) with a whole bunch of games, a working joystick, a broken one, a pair of paddle controllers (for some reason the right one is player one and the left one is player 2... Not said in auction.), plus the original power supply, an original RF modulator, and a (broken?) RCA cable. I just looked and on EBay there is a really good-looking 7800 for $13... I spent the last of my spending money on a Famicom. =(
