My desktop broke down. Seems to be a faulty power supply. (OMFG 4 months out of warranty. last time I buy zalman)
So I hope someone else will give it a try before next week

qmake -set QMAKESPEC macx-g++once and then the regular makefile should work just fine. But still, bonehead move.
