I thought that Tempest was going to be released last year. Maybe it will be released this year or maybe we will never see it.

Thanks.
I should have added "on an actual 5200 cart" to my previous entry. It is the only way I will play them.

Or better yet, support Atari Age...

http://atariage.com/...ct_detail&p=951

And it's much cheaper ($35 bucks? That's a bit too much)

I've seen that on there, but get stuck at item #3. It goes into some techy greek. ;) Thing is I don't have any files/binaries or label files, nor would I be able to test any. I do buy from what I find in actual production. I only buy a couple per year anyway. :)

I wouldn't want to speak for him, but I'd wager Al would help with that.

You'll be waiting for quite a long time, as I don't believe any First Star Software game has ever been released in rom form for the 5200.

I never did understand the fervor over Boulderdash. I find it a very dry game. :| I actually had the rom at one point. Someone posted it here on AA but it was removed within minutes. I happened to snag it before it was and played it via my Maxicart from vgwiz. I was less than impressed and either deleted the rom or lost it over the years. When the cart came out I was tempted but the pricetag was too much for my likes based on my opinion of the game. I'd pick one up for the collect-ability value if the opportunity arose (at a lower amt).

I'm settling into a spell of work in Brno (Czech Republic) and so may be able to find some time to get a few more A8 conversions done.

how about a new adventure for the 7800. 5200 version was good but with those "great" controllers to play with can get frustrating. im surprised more homebrews havent made it to the 7800!

There are several 7800 homebrews in the AA store available for purchase (when it comes back up). Checkout the Homebrew Development and 7800 forums too. You might also be interested in the XM which is a new expansion system for the 7800 (soon to be released).
