You're racing your BAJA BUGGER over a dangerous, treacherous road. But your opponents aren't just trying to win the race, they're trying to make it the last race you run. To stay alive, jump your BAJA BUGGER and land on top of your opponents.
Earn points by collecting flags, balloons and other prizes along the course. Watch out for PICK-UP TRUCKS and WEDGE CARS. They'll try to collide with you...and if they do, you're dead.
Fasten your seat belt and get ready for the wildest strip of road you've ever been crazy enough to drive.

Post your scores right here in this thread, and I will add them to the list. Remember to play the game with the recommended game mode and difficulty settings as shown above so that your scores will be consistent with everyone elses. The deadline for posting scores is Wednesday July 5th at 1:00 AM (Central Time, UTC-6). |

The Manual
As always, you really should read the manual. In case you don't have the manual, AtariAge has a typed copy available online. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide any specific hints.

- DON'T SACRIFICE yourself before scoring 10K points, even you have 5 lives since the starting. You can accumulate the first extra life at 10K points in addition to 5 initial lives. Study the scores which will result in extra life.
- The flags appear on the left and right side alternately. Occasionaly, the special items appear instead of flags: cherry, balloon, ice cream cone and Lollypop.
- The maximum number of enemy cars which appear on the road is 3. BE CAREFUL: the enemy cars change their directions and speed randomly.
- Don't try to complete each round quickly, because there are NO BONUS POINTS based on fastest time.
- Here's my suggestion to train EXACT JUMPS from road to another road: Practice with the Left Difficulty A (Expert - Hard Jumping) to test your coordination and be prepared to play Rounds 4 to 9 on Regular Settings (Difficulty B on both sides). With Left Difficulty B (Easy Jumps), you DON'T need to jump exactly from road to another road on the first 3 Rounds.
- BE PATIENT when the flags are missing to complete each round!
- BE CAREFUL with the declivity (white road) and acclivity (dark road). On Rounds 3, 6 and 9, pay close attention: there are holes in the road. So, practice jumping over the hole at the right time.
- Draw a map of 3 Roads:
- Road 1 is for Rounds 1, 4 and 7;
- Road 2 is for Rounds 2, 5 and 8;
- Road 3 is for Rounds 3, 6 and 9.
- Road 1 is for Rounds 1, 4 and 7;
- On Rounds 7, 8, and 9, avoid collecting white flags when possible; else... the colored flags will reappear at the top of screen. It makes more difficult to complete these rounds. So, the KEY TIP is: practice more these later rounds.
