Ok... good game. Very addicting.

On the voting for games thing. I do not like it. Why? Because I will always have a tendency to vote for games I am familiar with. The high Score Club lets me play games I have never tried before. Just wait and see. Games from Imagic, Activision and Atari will win most of the time. Just my thoughts. Now it is time to play!

I agree. I like playing games that i've never given a chance even if they suck.

The biggest flaw in this game is level 3 can't be completed half the time because of the missing flag problem. I'm sure level 6&9 are the same way since it basically is level 3 just a little harder. If the game had the same scoring system as the coleco game without the graphic glitches, I would love it. The game missing flags in level 3 is so pathetic that it's pretty comical.

HA! I just lost a min ago, had a great game going, only lost 1 life by level 3... and looped in circles looking for the missing flag, and lost all my lives :(

This game is not so good,... disapearing flags is definately a RED FLAG!

I have yet to see level 4. I feel talentless.

It's such major flaw. It would be like the raft or latter missing in the dungeons in Zelda for the NES.

nice! now you have to remember to hit the flag once or it will go back to white. I wonder if level 6 is a messed up as 3? It's the same level just can't jump as far.

beat all 9 levels again and made it to level 6 second trip around. after 15 levels my score was around about 82,000. After level 3 it's very difficult to collect points because no more items to collect.

wanted to see if I could beat the game twice. Well, I finished once and got stock on level 6 second time around because the level was missing a flag :roll: Jumped into the lake about 3 times to fishish. I also can't tell how many times I was about to jump on a car only for it to magically disappear, ending up with 0 points. :?

So this is that HSC that all the kids on the world wide web have been raving about. I voted for Robot Tank, as it is the only game I have experience with.

So... I want in. Is there a thread with the rules and perimiters? Stella ok? Thanks.

up_n_down_45560.PNG IMPROVEMENT - 45,560

SOME TIPS (New Revision):

1. DON'T SACRIFICE yourself before scoring 10K points, even you have 5 lives since the starting. You can accumulate the first extra life at 10K points in addition to 5 initial lives. Study the scores which will result in extra life.

2. The flags appear on the left and right side alternately. Occasionaly, the special items appear instead of flags: cherry, balloon, ice cream cone and Lollypop.

3. The maximum number of enemy cars which appear on the road is 3. BE CAREFUL: the enemy cars change their directions and speed randomly.

4. Don't try to complete each round quickly, because there are NO BONUS POINTS based on fastest time.

5. Here's my suggestion to train EXACT JUMPS from road to another road: Practice with the Left Difficulty A (Expert - Hard Jumping) to test your coordination and be prepared to play Rounds 4 to 9 on Regular Settings (Difficulty B on both sides). With Left Difficulty B (Easy Jumps), you DON'T need to jump exactly from road to another road on the first 3 Rounds.

6. BE PATIENT when the flags are missing to complete each round!

7. BE CAREFUL with the declivity (white road) and acclivity (dark road). On Rounds 3, 6 and 9, pay close attention: there are holes in the road. So, practice jumping over the hole at the right time.

8. Draw a map of 3 Roads:
  • Road 1 is for Rounds 1, 4 and 7;
  • Road 2 is for Rounds 2, 5 and 8;
  • Road 3 is for Rounds 3, 6 and 9.
9. On Rounds 7, 8, and 9, avoid collecting white flags when possible; else... the colored flags will reappear at the top of screen. It makes more difficult to complete these rounds. So, the KEY TIP is: practice more these later rounds.

Flag missing on level 3, lol. It's pretty hilarious now actually. What were they smoking when they released this game back in 1984 with such a major glitch? All my top scores are from getting stuck in a level.

Score now 154,820 Must of played this level for 30 minutes and no signs of that red flag.
