I have the following 7800 games available: Joust, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers (very bad label), Asteroids, Food Fight, Galaga, and Super Huey. Here are the prices for them shipped: 1 game for $5, 2 for $9, 3 for $13, 4 for $16, 5 for $18, 6 for $20, 7 for $22, or 8 for $23 I will only accept PayPal (confirmed address only) and I will only ship to the U.S.

I am looking for the following games for the 7800 to complete my collection: Alien Brigade, Basketbrawl, Ikari Warriors, Mat Mania Challenge, Mean 18 Ultimate Golf, Planet Smashers and Summer Games. If you have any of these maybe we could work out a trade or I would be willing to purchase them.

Please send me a private message.

And no shipping to Canada. That counts me out. And while I'm on the subject, all you ebayers who ship "US only" : PPTTFHHHTHTHTHT (raspberry sound)

I'd also like to post another funny phenomenom about these US only sellers while I'm on this rant.

I sell on ebay too and usually internationally. I sell a lot to the US. No problem. My buyers are usually sellers themselves. I check out their auctions and low and behold, they ship US only. Can someone explain to me why a person has no problem buying from other countries but try to get them to ship something out of their precious borders and they act like you want them to commit murder?

So If I had these games and was willing to sell to you, you'd turn me down cause I wasn't in the US?
Sorry but this crap bugs me.

Ok, because this is the Atari Age web site and not eBay I will ship to Canada. There is combined shipping as the prices per game do go down with the more items that are purchased.

I found this post funny for some reason. Nothing mcgrail said or anything, just the way people are about overseas shipping. :D

I too, sell on ebay, and I *DO* ship overseas, but there are some inconveniences to doing so. For one thing people often don't realize just how much it can cost to send something overseas via Air mail (usually 4-7 days) and the next affordable rate can often take up to 2 whole months to arrive. :-/

Bidders are often shocked and sometimes not willing to follow through, when I inform them that shipping is $75-80 on a that system w/games!

Then there's issues with accepted payments, not everyone uses online payment services like Paypal or Billpoint, and foreign checks and even money orders are not always easy to cash, depending on the bank there could also be added fees.

And of course there's always customs' fees, which the buyer wants you to fib on the form so they will be out of, not exactly on the up and up, but I generally agree. Anyone from Canada here, never asked a US seller to check 'gift" and value under $15 dollars? ;)

And there are other things as well. Things like packing supplies, where priority mail boxes are free, as long as you use Priority mail, some sellers sell predominately that way and don't wish to buy materials for other rates.

Language barriers sometimes can scare sellers. I've had my share of weird are confusing emails from people in Singapore and Japan. Most of the bidders I've dealt with from Germany use pretty fluent Englishoddly enough. :)

And sometimes it's just the hassle of figuring out a total shipping charge. Alot of sellers have flat fees, especially if the sell similar sized items. They know the can ship anywhere within the US and not go over the $5 mark. But overseas varies from country to country, so it's harder on them to know how to quote the shipping.

But it's worth it to me. I enjoy it! I've meet lots of neat people all over the world, and I'm not selling to get rich, only as a hobby, same with my game collection. So it's worth it to me in the end. :)

One thing you might want to do/try, I'm referring to you people not in the US wanting our games, Is to try emailing the sellers before hand, and letting them know you have paypal, are a quick payer, and that Air mail shipping on a package that size is typically X amount. I've had success, on ebay.co.uk and ebay.co.jp etc. It doesn't hurt to ask. Some people just down state so in their description, but are more than willing, if they think it'll help raise the price alittle. :)

OK sorry to jump your post mcgrail, just venting my own personal rant. I'm tired of hearing people complaining about this. :P

Sorry about the rant. My pet peeve isn't against those who don't want to sell overseas. Thats fine. My pet peeve are ebayers who buy from all over the world but who turn around as sellers and refuse to sell anywhere but the States. I've run into quite a few.

I don't ask people to lie on customs forms. I have a problem with US sellers overinflating prices. In 4 different auctions from four different sellers, I've bought carts and won in the $3 - $5 range. The sellers put $15 to $25 values on them! Its happened to my wife buying childrens clothes too. The value is what the buyer pays for it, not a sellers personal opinion on what it should be.

I can certainly attest to that. I won an auction for a $20 belt, and the seller marked the value as being over 200 U.S. dollars. I had to pay over $60 CDN in customs fees!
Oh, well. That certainly hasn't stopped me from using ePay! :)

re: shipping - Keep in mind, Canada is not 'overseas'. We're right next door. Also, shipping to Canada from the US is very cheap, often cheaper than shipping within Canada. I recently received a cart from Utah that cost $1.10 to mail, and another from Ohio that cost $1.65 to mail. That is dirt cheap shipping.
