I just thought I'd mention that Steam has Space Giraffe & Gridrunner Revolution available for $3.74 (that's both of them). They're also available for $2.49 individually (normally $9.99 each). I've already had them for some time, but if you've been on the fence, this is a pretty deep discount. Definitely worth the pick-up if you're a fan of Jeff Minter's games.

I've never bought a game from steam, how does it work? Are the games tied to 1 pc? My main gaming rig is dead now (lightning strike) but if I can buy this and transfer it later I will...

You have to "register" or "verify" Steam on each computer you use, but no, theoretically you should be able to use it on as many PCs that have your Steam account loaded. Some games on Steam DO have DRM with limited install counts, depending on the publisher, but Minter's games shouldn't.

is space giraffe any better than the horrific 360 version? that was a major disaster. lost all faith in Minter (Defender 2000 was my last Minter game and that was horrible). Even Tempest 3000 was a minor disappointment.
