[Curious Sofa]

I'm probably late to the party on this, but just in case I'm not the only one, here's a "strongly rumored" (as in they found art files for these characters on Capcom's server) list of the 12 characters likely to be in UMvC3:
Strider, Firebrand (a 2nd character from Ghouls n' Ghosts), Vergil (a 2nd character from Devil may Cry?), Frank West of Dead Rising, Phoenix Wright, Nemesis (yet another character from Resident Evil, bringing us to...4 from the one series, am I right?), Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Nova (unfamiliar with this one but he looks cool), Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, Iron Fist.

12 for $40 is a better value than 4 for $40, if they release all 12 with the new game and don't charge you extra to DL some of the 12 BUT... I'm still peeved that they don't let you pick and choose and just DL it to MvC3. If I was paying, I'd be likely to go for Phoenix Wright, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye and Iron Fist, with Firebrand, Nova and Dr. Strange as maybe's. So I guess I'm being dumb about it, as I'd be spending $35 in DL at $5 apiece were I to get the 7 I'd be interested in.

I just don't get a lot of the choices. I get that they're pushing Resident Evil 'cause it's a current series, and Devil May Cry. But I don't get why there's no Punisher, Daredevil, Mega Man, Venom, Dhalsim, Sagat.... we all have our wish lists. It just doesn't seem like what they're putting on here fulfilled anyone's wish list. Just some interesting and some uninteresting choices.
