I recently purchased an Xbox 360 Slim and am wondering what the best way is to clean off marks and smudges? Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have a Slim but to clean away finger prints on my launch PS3, I used one of those soft "eye glass cloth's" that you can buy very cheaply at any pharmacy or optometry place. I also used a Swifter Duster to remove daily dust and dirt.

My 60gb is scratch and smudge free and looks as new as the day I took it out of the box. I'm sure the 360 Slim is comprised of the same materials and could be cleaned the same way.

Thank you for the serious reply Mendon, I appreciate it. Atarian and AtariLeaf, I get the feeling your methods wouldn't turn out very well.

Just curious what type of slim case do you have Nall3k?
Is it one of the glossy cases or the matte cases?

It's the glossy case which in turn makes it a dust and hair magnet at times.

Fixed.

Similar to the old PS3's you can probably use the same techniques to shine up your Slim.

Awesome Moycon, thank you! You think Clorox dis-infecting wipes would work as well for the main body of the system?

Speaking only for myself, I wouldn't use any chemical cleaners on my PS3. Maybe a water-damp cloth at the most, but I wouldn't use Lysol or any other chemical on the finish.

But that's me.....

To be honest I've never used those wipes. They may leave streaks on the PS3 case. You could probably use them and then some sort of lint free cloth to buff out any streaks. You can find cloths like that at any store, just look for the car wash supplies.
