That really smacks of someone discovering some stuff and wondering what the hell he found - got to be rare, no idea what it's worth, go fishing for offers.

Saw the first page of his other auctions... all seems to have a just-dug-this-up-in-the-back-yard quality to it.

Yeah pretty bad also, but at least you are getting something. Maybe even 5 free game offer certificates worth $50.00
:D

So, so true. Sometimes I'd just like to grab and shake a few people, screaming at them: "OLD DOES NOT MEAN RARE".

I've seen people label NES carts of Super Mario Bros. 3 as "VERY RARE HTF L@@K RARE"

I mean, seriously? Blarg.

I was watching Hoarders the other night; this guy is throwing away some old magazines and the home owner says "Don't toss them, they're antiques!" The guy replies, "Ma'am, they're not antiques, they're from the eighties, that just makes them old." :D

I love when people do this. At comic-con this year there was a guy selling old video games for a lot more then they were worth; $50 for SMB2 in absolutely wretched condition, $40 for a copy of ET for 2600 in a crushed and moldy looking box, and Ecco The Dolphin, loose with a half torn label $30. :o  :rolling: Told him he was smoking crack, not one of his games sold the whole show that I noticed.
