Curt Vendel was the recipient of the Syzygy I/O Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the Players' Choice Awards and deservedly so. It was given for his lifetime of dedication and outstanding achievement in documenting and preserving Atari History. So happy to see a deserving man honored for his sincere efforts.





Eduardo Mello, Thomas Jentzsch, Paul Slocum, Kevin Mitnick and a few others were also honored. Right on.

No, it just means he's being recognized for his first 30 years of work archiving, preserving, and sharing Atari history.

To everyone who owns an Atari Flashback 2 or 2+ game console, Gizmo our pug passed away after 14 wonderful years, but his spirit lives on in every Flashback 2 & 2+ as the "Gizmo" mmu/menu controller in every one of those consoles, you will be missed Gizmo
