I was just a kid when I got mine but luckily I got it in 82 so had several years of goodness. Plus when all the games went on discount my mom bought a bunch of them and then just kept giving them to me for birthdays and christmas for several years after 84 so my happiness lasted. I just wish she would have bought a ton more so I saved money in getting all these games the last few years :)

What a cool Mom!...that woulda been awesome, getting a few carts every year until, who knows...the Nintendo came out! Especially during the shake-out years...I remember fondly the memories of finding out about 'new' games every year or so...Frenzy being the last one for me. But I was still going with my Coleco until 89 or so...Miner 2049er was a late gem (after renting it as a kid and thinking it sucked, later it became a classic for me).
