I hadn't seen anyone post about this yet, but I WILL be there again this year, with as many Atari 8 bits as I can fit into my car!
The main site is www.vcfmw.org

Good turnout, friendly peeps and great prices. Bought a bunch of TI books, Amiga software, 1010 disk drive, a sound sampler and a nice 1702 monitor last year. Oh and got to meet Jim Brain as he assembled my uIEC device :)

Not sure how early Saturday, but I'll definitely be there!

@save2600: Main reason I'm going - hoping to score a uIEC...now, if I can get my mits on a 1010, that'd just be icing on the cake :)

So sadly, due to a single-car accident late this afternoon, I'm not going to be exhibiting after all. I'm fine, but due to my defensive instincts to avoid hitting another car, my car is not in good shape. I'll still stop by for a while though.

pulpfan, I have exactly one of each kind of 1010, or I'd bring ya one. Someone was trying to sell some Atari peripherals on Rockford Craigslist recently (a DeKalb seller). As I recall it included another 1010, but I dunno if it's still listed.

Glad to hear you're OK - sorry to hear the car wasn't :(

Looks like I was misreading save2600's "1010" reference - I was thinking he meant an Amiga 1010 external drive, not the Atari 1010 recorder :) I have to say though (after looking up what an Atari 1010 was) that is one sweet lookin tape drive...much prettier than the Commodore 1530--all iterations--by a long shot!

That's probably our fault for automatically assuming Atari between two Atari users :D

I was never a real Commodore fan, but I do appreciate the work that people are pumping into keeping the vintage 8bits and Amigas alive, just as much as the Atari community on here (and other sites) for the various systems!
