Just curious as to why we only have Wii, 360, and PS3 subforums, and no subforums for the 3DS, PSP, etc.

I think it'd be nice to have all the 3DS topics in one subforum, in particular.

I think a handheld sub-forum was suggested in the past, but most thought it wasn't needed. I think it would be a good idea. At least a single place for all modern handheld talk, maybe not necessarily a separate forum for each platform.

Yeah, I think so. I think the Modern Gaming General forum is cluttered with PSP/3DS etc. topics.

I would be interested in being a moderator for that forum. That is, if it's ever created.

I agree that a Handhelds/Portables forum would be great

What are you trying to imply with that?

I think it was a reference to the 1960's TV show called Batman.
After a plan of action was developed by Batman and his sidekick Robin, a person watching might hear Batman proclaim that very phrase afterwards.

Oh, I know what the reference was, I meant how were you using it? What was your plan of action? That's what I was asking for.

Well I wasn't using it but my plan was to maybe put the post in perspective.

Sounds to me like you had a plan and someone was referencing a phrase from an old TV show.
The phrase most often heard after a plan was made. Seemed pretty straight forward.
Did you think that post was somehow direct towards you in a negative way?
Fess up, are you the Riddler?

I will admit a forum for handhelds would be a good idea.
One quick question, if you were a mod would you be asking everyone exactly what they were implying when they posted something?

Hey, I'm with Animan. A "To the Batmobile!" out of nowhere is kind of confusing. Was it usually said after a plan was made? I don't recall specific triggers for that phrase, nor a plan being made, so the phrase outta nowhere threw me off too.

Can we drop the Batman sidetrack?

Just curious because I could see that getting old REAL quick.

No, let me try that again here.

AtariLeaf said "To the Batmobile!", which led me to imply that he was about to do something. So I asked "What are you trying to imply?", and then everyone thought I didn't get the reference. Then I said "I meant how were you using it? What was your plan of action? ", which led you to post that.

What I actually meant to say, to AtariLeaf, was "What are you about to do?". Bad wording on my part.

And yes, constantly asking what everyone is implying everytime they say something WOULD get annoying.

Maybe I should step away from the keyboard for a few minutes :P . Maybe play some Sega Rally or something.

Surely Rex, you aren't suggesting Batman and Robin just randomly shouted that phrase and took joy rides around Gotham in the bat mobile!?
The bat mobile is no toy. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility. (Oops wrong comic character)

I think he was saying, let get this idea rolling. The plan being to start a handheld forum.

To the Batmobile!!

That's how I read it.

So... should we ask Albert about creating a Handheld/Mobile subforum?

I think it was brought up in the past. But it never hurts to ask.
If you really want to get attention, you might consider asking in the Suggestions sub-forum of the Subscribers forum.

I think subforums would be a great idea. Handhelds have moved up in the world, so to speak. They are no longer the half-powered, lesser-thans that they have been known to be in the past. They have truly come into their own as being a valid, exciting segment of modern gaming. I think quite a few gamers, these days, view them as being just as worthy of attention as their "under the TV" counterparts.

No but seriously, now that I just picked up a 3ds I would frequent a handheld sub-forum.

I think it would be a good addition, along with a pinned subforum for handhled and mobil device HSCs.

I vote for separate subforum for modern portables. For now, just a general catch all sub forum that covers DS (all versions), PSP (including PSP-GO), upcoming Vita, and w/e that will pop up.
