I don't think there is enough traffic to warrant it. There are never more then 4 or 5 threads in the main modern gaming area outside of the console specific boards that are ever active in any single 24 hour period. And a quick scan only shows 16 or so threads about handheld gaming over the past 50 threads.

Handheld gaming is certainly worthy of its own dedicated forum, but I personally don't see the traffic to warrant yet another subforum at this website. I think sticking it off on it's own would just see even less handheld discussion here since some of us might not make visiting it part of our forum routine.

We have tons of interesting forums here, but how many of us have the time to routinely visit more than a handful of them? I don't see the need for yet another forum to spread discussion out even further when the current method seems to suffice for a moderate level of traffic.

Seems like a solution without a problem, to me.
