Thought I'd take a shot at these two items before I head off to eBay.

I have an NES that I need to test but no power supply/AC adapter. Would like an original one.

Found one for $2 at the local pawn shop. Still need the item below. :)

I have an original Magnavox Odyssey that I need to test but no switch box (the beige one with the input for the proprietary end). I believe this came with some Odyssey pong machines and early models of the Odyssey 2 as well.

Let me know what you'd want for either of these. I also have stuff to trade if you're interested (loose NES/2600 carts, lots of Playstation 1/2 stuff).

I would like to get a spare one of these if a couple of them show up somewhere. My O^2 has the attached a/v cable, does anyone know of a similar adapter to the one sold on AA that bypasses the switch box?

I imagine there are fewer switch boxes than there are working O^2 consoles at this point. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get past the switch boxes, I'd love to hear it...

Not sure if this is what you're asking about, but here's a webpage that shows you how to bypass the proprietary switchbox for the the O2: http://www.ozyr.com/o2/tvcordhk.html

Oh man, it's that easy? It's a standard jack but they just hid it inside the console!!

Thanks so much!!

just tossing out a genesis model 1 a/c will work on the nes, just for future reference.
