Just wanted to share with everyone the local purchase I made. I picked up a lot of 50 Colecovision carts! I thought there would be some doubles but the only double I had out of the 50 was 2 copies of Rocky boxing. When I went to pick up the carts, the guy also mentioned an Atari 2600 module that he had with some 2600 carts that I could have if I waited a few minutes. Of course I waited and he dug out the box with the Module and about 10 carts.

When I got home I started to go through the carts and found some manuals for games as well. Some of the rarer titles I found were:

  • Mr Do's Castle
  • Star Wars Arcade
  • Robin Hood
  • Artillery Duel
  • Zenji
  • Dragonfire
and I may have missed a couple others but overall I am very happy with the games. I'm going through the carts and tried these ones out and was pleased to find out that they're all working.

I do have some bad news, I have a copy of Beamrider that I cannot get to work. I put it aside and will give it a good cleaning and perhaps it will work after cleaning.

As I was picking up this lot, I also made a purchase from Team Pixelboy and have a copy of Track and Field (with a controller) as well as Gulkave on it's way to me. It's always fun to get new games! lol

After I clean up the carts etc (the box was dusty and a bit dirty) I plan on posting a pick of everything. Just wanted to share!

One question... what should I do with any duplicate carts? Do I need to keep one or two for donor carts for future homebrews? Of course, anything that would make a good trade would be used for trades but it seems that everything I have doubles of are of the common or uncommon at best variety. Any thoughts?

Just for the record, I sold him my last copy of Track & Field. That title is now permanently sold out on my end, the only copies of T&F still available are found at Good Deal Games, and I'm not sure how many copies GDG has left at the moment. :)

I'll keep that in mind. However, considering the shipping cost to ship carts, would there be a number minimum number of carts you would want? I think I might have 10 doubles (all standard Coleco carts).

The more is the better! (less shipping)

I need a bunch! ;)
