"Jankanoo" was the buyer, and apparently already got it based on the feedback of the seller. Great deal for him! :)
If he wants something, he gets it. He seems to have unlimited funds. If you want something that he has bid on, don't bother. You will LOSE!!!!! I've seen this over and over.

Allan

I wouldn't underestimate these 4 gentlemen and friends when it comes to bidding on something they want.

Yah, I looked at this but I think I only needed one of them and I'm too lazy to try to sell stuff to recoup some of my outlay. :) I will say that this would have been a great way to start a CIB collection. I also really liked the way the seller had pictures of each and every game. Well done.

Ya nice lot. I put a token bid in at $700 something just for a chance at upgrades or variations and sell the rest. It would have been great inventory for the store. A quick add up came up to about $1200 in value for me at retail. I have NEVER seen xonox double ender boxes for colecovision, think they were only released in canada. I have the carts. I have a complete CIB set of american release other than super Sketch. Got my last fisher Price box last week

Thats the thing I don't get the most. If the Xenox Double enders were only sold in Canada, how come we have soooo many people from canada on this site and none of these guys have the double enders boxed?
Canada do you throw away all your boxes ;)

Because why the hell (back in 80s) would people would buy 2 $%?#ing CRAPPY games for the price of 1 $%?#ing CRAPPY game? :?

Even back in 80s, I never ever seen any Xonox games, double-ender or not

Xonox rhyme with they sucks! ;)

Even then, they will end up to more than 1K each :|

They are the 3 most rarest CV games to get CIB

Also, I'm pretty sure that most of the Xonox stuff were sold in US

I guess I would mostly agree with this However
Tomarc the Barbarian -- pretty bad, although I had never seen a game made that early where you can flip between two players and try to accomplish two different tasks during the game
Slurpy -- I actually like this game once you read the instructions and understand how to play it is kind of addicting.

I've to agree with you, Slurpy is without no doubt the "better" Xosucks games

I priced it out at $950, but I'm a cheap SOB. :P Buy low and pass the savings along, I say.

Anyhow, ooooh, was I hoping for a Second Chance Offer on this one. Oh well.

It's interesting what people get when while they are collecting. I've had the Fisher Price stuff boxed for several years now, but other things have been far more difficult to get.

Sure! :D

EDIT: If there's ATARI & INTV fans that are interested in getting the Atari and INTV Flyers, let me know, I'll split

Now that looks VERY INTERESTING! :D

The one thing that would concern me is the possibility of the Press Kit actually being a reproduction of the original although the completeness??? of it would make that a huge endeavor... lord knows there are a lot of very talented people on here (past and present) that could duplicate it. It also wouldn't be that difficult to rough it up a little to make it look aged, not that I'm saying anyone would do this.

It would be nice to know how the seller came across this, you know, a little history goes a long way especially since this is the only video game related item listed amongst a couple hundred other items the seller has available.

Could be, as long as you never seen one for real in the past years, I would say it is very possible. I know a place that could do this kind of thing and trust me, it could look as real as an original.
Even If I won this press kit, I won't make any repro out of that.. unless clearly state that those are repros.. maybe different size, anyway....

As said, I'm sure its the real deal and look like it is too
The condition could be a major factor, like if the kit look a way too much new (freshly printed)

EDIT: A great idea would be to make a book containing all Coleco press kits .... humm... I can do that! :D

So, I guess you didn't win the auction? :?

I threw in the towel at $625 although I was ready to go $700 until sanity took over and reminded me that I need about 25 more CIBs to complete my collection that are going to cost me a pretty penny eventually.

Oh well, maybe next time.
