The store says: "We'll be back at the end of August!"

Anyone who knows more exactly when Al will return from vacation?

Al told me on the 15th that he'd be back at the end of next week, so I guess that means sometime this weekend.

Al returns from vacation this week. :) According to the GPS tag I placed on his car, he will be back Wednesday or Thursday.

We're driving across I-25 in Colorado right now, headed back towards Texas. I will be back sometime tomorrow, the time of which depends on whether we drive straight through or stop somewhere in north Texas for the night. Using my iPad to look through email, which I haven't been able to do for the past 24 hours. We rode the Monarch Crest trail today, pretty epic trail with spectacular views. I think we rode about 34 miles with 2400 or so feet of climbing. Pretty tired right now!

We have a SPOT tracker with us, I should have posted a link earlier. This will let you see our progress as we head back towards Texas. It's updated every 10 minutes. It's been stuffed in a CamelBak the past few hours, so not sure if it's been sending out a signal, but we just put it back on the dash. :)

Better buy a black light on the way back to check. We all know what NE146 does in other people's houses.

Leave him an upper decker before you go!

Of course he did. As a card-carrying member of the Illuminati, he's required to.

Hey, that SPOT tracker is pretty cool. I didn't know there was such a device....well, in a consumer friendly way at least.

The SPOT's main purpose is to summon help in an emergency. Since it's satellite-based, you don't need a cell phone signal. You just press the "911" button and help should eventually arrive. The tracking aspect is cool, but would be nicer if it updated more frequently. I'm sure the slow interval is mainly to preserve battery life.

Damn Al, you got a lot of energy. Next summer we're going to Yellowstone, and I plan on hiking a 2 mile trail that climbs 2000 feet. Never done anything like it before.

Not quite normal yet, need to catch up on some orders and come up with a plan on staying on top of them. Also have some projects I need to take care fo for people, as well as things like making another run of Halo 2600 carts. :)

If some people dream of eating a giant marshmallow and wake up with their pillow missing, what happens if you fall asleep on your hand?

Those are some very awesome pics, Al, definitely beautiful and treacherous lands to go across on a bike. Nice, and glad you had the spare parts you needed on hand.
