I played one a few times at a convenience store when I lived in Ohio again in 1989/1990. I never had a chance to play it for that long, but I liked what I saw and heard. I tried it with MAME on my PC and it just doesn't sound right or look quite right. If you can get the real thing and it doesn't cost too much, seems like a good arcade game to have.

Why would you not buy an arcade machine? :D

I once owned an Asteroids machine - classic stuff. Great to have around.

How much is the seller asking for the arcade machine? What kind of shape is it in? If you get it you need to post pictures!

it seems to be in good condition

Love hitting up 2 player on Blasteroids while controlling both ships, transforming one into a Warrior ship and other a Speeder ship, then merging the ships for awesome firepower. I then unleash the focking fury on the forces of Mukor across the galaxy and eventually him. :D It's an awesome take on Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe and one of my favorite Atari arcade games!

It's more fun than Asteroids. There's plenty of depth to it, and you have to play it on the real hardware(at least the controller) to get the most out of it. Lots of levels, and lots of powerups & various things to do.

As a kid I always liked this game much better than the original Asteroids.
It looks great, with backgrounds that looked like they might be taken from photos.
I liked the choice of ships. I usually chose the tank ship Warrior for it's extra armor and I also liked the fact you could get power ups. This game is a lot like the original, but much deeper. I'd get it if I could.
