Virender Dayal spent most of the tournament in 7th place, but pulled out the victory in dramatic fashion in Stella's Six Pack tournament which concluded last Monday morning. Check the RetroBlog for all the tournament scores and final standings.

There's always something going on!

Two announcements:

#1 We're running a contest from now until December 31 called "Token Mania." Whenever you top a high score on the Retroboards, you will receive 1000 forum tokens. Whomever has the most tokens at the end of the month will win a digital edition of Retrocade Magazine. You can read all the details here.

#2 Starting in January we will be running a month long high score contest on a single title. The player with the top score submission will receive 2,500 forum tokens for bragging rights. You can read more about the game of the month contest here.

The first game of the month will be on one of four Atari 2600 titles that players will vote on: Barnstorming, Cosmic Ark, Stampede or Superman.

I don't have access to the database so you have to re-create your user account.

We now have three officials on staff verifying scores and adding new games to be tracked on the following platforms: Atari 2600, Intellivision, NES and Sega Master System. I will continue to officiate all other platforms.

There's a whole lot going on and you can always post scores at any time on any of the hundreds of games that we are tracking! So, what are you waiting for? Registration is quick, free and easy!

What are tokens? You earn tokens by participating in the forums, playing the lottery and competing in contests. You can then redeem those tokens for items like game cartridges, magazines and manuals.

Bounty Bowl I - Beat the bounty scores in any of these games and win 1000 tokens: Popeye (5200), Robotron:2084 (5200), Tac/Scan(2600), TRON: Deadly Discs (2600). You also win tokens if you score at least 50% or better than the bounty score.
