I've got a couple of old controllers that have plastic or vinyl overlays over the casing, a Starplex for the 2600 and a Vectrex controller. The tackiness of both overlays has attenuated over the years, so I'd like to glue them back on the controllers. I've tried reheating with a hair dryer but with no success. I don't want to use anything that would damage the plastic casing (super glue), so can anyone recommend a good product for this purpose? Thanks!

I'd use a spray on adhesive, or see if I could get a vinyl label made at a print or sign shop using a clean scan of the original.

Spray on would be a good idea. Didn't think of that. I'll report back after a trip to the home improvement store.
