I have an LG 3D Android phone. I have a few emulators on it including an 8 bit Atari and a snes one. I just got a "Zeemote" bluetooth joystick working with it. This makes emulators so much more "real". Connecting the phone to my TV gives console emulation another boost. Its on youtube here.........

You can already uses a ps3 or 360 controller play certain android games. This looks much more portable. I cant get a 360 pad in my pocket very conviently. Too bad it deosnt work with motorola yet. I wish the ps3 controller would work with the psx emu, that would be awesome.

Later: Never mind. I Googled 'zeemote' and it doesn't look like these are available in Canada. Ah well.

I got mine on eBay they only cost about £7 plus postage. The free "bluez IME" app works without rooting your phone, and it also works with some other controllers like the iControlPad.

These people will deliver world wide for £3.95....... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 350219265746

There are some apps that allow wii controllers or PS3 or Xbox controllers to be used, BUT these require root access and in lots of cases a custom rom like CyanogenMod.

I can see no reason why it won't work with your device. It works on at least 3 moto devices including the Xoom and the droid X.

It works with HTC devices running sense, it works on the Samsung Galaxy S 2, it works on my LG (all these WILL NOT work with other BT apps)
I have yet to find feedback where it doesn't work on ANY android deice?

I have one of these... I had no idea why I didn't think about trying to get it to work on my Android. :)

I know what I am doing when I get home :)

I was wondering if it would work with an HTC phone. From your comment it looks as it does. I'll look into this. Looks cool and it would be great with an Android tablet!

The Zeemote website, or the bluez IME website? Ignore the Zeemote website, it was made for Nokia devices. It's the bluez IME app that makes it work with Android.

I wonder if it would work with my computer's bluetooth? I like my atari controller, but it's really big, this looks much more portable.

I got a ZeeMote on eBay too. I put it inside an old PSX controller. It is small so you could put it inside any kind of controller.

Here is a YouTube video about how I made it:

What the heck... I decided to try one. The cost from the cheapest eBay seller was about £12 or $19 including shipping to Canada.

I've tried running a few emulators such as Droid2600 on my Android phone and tablet, and although the emulators seem to work well, touch screen input is terrible for a traditional console. Hopefully this device will work well with my devices...
