I noticed on here they have two different versions of Cybermorph. 1 Meg & 2 Meg. I picked up a loose copy of the game on eBay and the only difference I notice from the AA pictures.

1 Meg:
http://www.atariage....areLabelID=1074

2 Meg:
http://www.atariage....areLabelID=1075

is the serial number on the lower right corner...the one I got looks like the 2 meg from the serial number.

Is that the only way to distinguish between the two versions?

Thanks for the help!

Some info here, but but nothing you probably don't already know.

There was a post a little while back saying someone got a version with an odd photocopy manual.

There's also a post from a while back explaining differences in overlays.

So experts.... what are the differences between the Cybermorph beta on Jaguar Sector 2 and the regular game?

I haven't tried the beta version, but if it's like most Jaguar betas it is probably nearly identical. Most of the betas we have access to were versions that were finished, for all intents and purposes, but are pre-production rom images that were originally distributed to magazines for review (via Flashrom cartridge). Though there are some, like Fight for Life, that got bad reviews and were reworked so the betas do have differences, sometimes major. But that's probably only about 5% of the betas out there.

DCUltrapro: On post 2 on here has a link of Cybermorph label variations:

Here is what it says:
Here are the three Cybermorph labels that I know about.
Anyone know of others?

J9000 700700 is a 1mb game identical to the J9000E 700700-3 game.

J9000E 700700-2 is the 2mb game.

roger doger, I've only been looking at ones where you can see the code, and even then i've been confirming with the seller that this is the one I will definitely receive in the mail. Looking forward to getting mine :)
