All the different versions of the original are basically the same, with the exception of the SNES version.
The SNES version, while basically the same game mechanics, has redone graphics which are more "cutesy" and more colorful.
But the versions with mouse support are way easier to play. (Mac, PC, Amiga .. not sure if there was an ST version.)
