This is just a quick game I played while eating my lunch this afternoon

I gonna try to get 100k this time.


Unfortunately I no longer have a good joystick for my console.
So it will be on an emulator.

Also, I PMed somebody who posted a score of almost 100k in last year tread and asked him to join us.

The game gets ridiculously fast once you get onto the key level. After that, it's just a case of hang on and hope for the best!

I'll try it again later this week - I want to give cparsley's challenge a go. I didn't realise things changed if you restarted a game after reaching 100,000!

Incidentally, does anyone know how the Twingalaxies high score for Lock n Chase is 888,000?! How's that even possible?

I think that the heart level repeats itself. So if you have a good pattern you can play for a while.
Or, you stay in the same level and lock police men over and over again.

The thing to realize is that most TG scores for old school consoles (INTV, VCS etc) were done before the current guidelines for high score submissions. A lot of items used then to create a high score is banned today, but can only be removed when challenged by someone legitimately going for the game title.

I'm sure the score is good.

It was made by Todd Rodgers who is consider one of the best player of all time.
And he has a very good reputation.

Also, the verification method was "referee".



He's also in this very good documentary: Chasing Ghosts.
