Since there's no NTSC/PAL issue - do US games work in European models okay?

All Lynx games work in all Lynxes.

The only ever problem you might encounter with some recent homebrews is, you might find it hard to close the Lynx 1 lid.

Thank goodness! I'm off to the WTB thread. Thanks a lot!

You are welcome! Better safe then sorry. I have bought Lynx games from Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, the UK and the US and never had a problem.

I'll vouch that I just bought one from Bosnia.... works great. LOL

As stated earlier, yes, all games work in all Lynx Systems.
All Lynx power cords will work in all lynx systems as well. You just need to make sure you have the proper one for whatever country you are in.

Does that mean that of the 'classic handhelds' (i.e lynx, turbo express, gameboy/gear, wonderswan and so on) the lynx was the only one that didn't have a 'region lock' like the other systems did

I also do not believe that Gameboy and Gamegear had region lock. I have a few Japanese cartridges for each and they run well. Same goes for the NGPC.

Turbo Express had the same region lock as the TurboGrafx / Pc Engine. You need a converter to play Japan games on a USA system.
