I call BS. Why?

They claim that the girl was having fun playing an EA sports title. We all know that NOBODY has fun playing EA Sports titles. :|

Seriously? I haven't seen anything else about this elsewhere. Maybe it's too soon?

NHL 2012: coming soon to a Box of Crap near you.

EA Sports, are the biggest selling useless item since PPV Wrestling matches.

I will never cease to be amazed by the success of these games.

OK so they can add a generic player to customize and as far as real pro's go maybe Manon Rhéaume? I mean what other female player
could they add to the NHL roster in good faith? I'm not trying to be sexist in any way I'm just being realistic.

Well, the main thing I got out of this article was that this WAS just to customize the roster -- things like making a player. Not actually pros.

Well they said that they based the default image off of photos of the girl that requested the feature. Now I don't want to make an obscene comment here but perhaps this girl didn't have the best face for showing off the new feminine heads?

Actually, I doubt it. The actual customization of EA Sports character models has always been rather tacked-on and half hearted so they probably just threw in longer eyelashes and some feminine hair options. Still, it is better than nothing.
