Yes, this is the same seller who cancelled his Sentinel auction on me because it was only going for a couple bucks, even though he charges $8 in shipping and handling.

Both Lemmi and I got hosed thanks to this bastard, who will probably take his copy and re-list it with a Buy It Now for $100 (+ $8 shipping). I don't normally like to complain about greedy eBay sellers, but this guy really takes the cake.

You mean the buyer will re-list it with a high BIN ? I don't remember the post you are referring to.

I also need that game, but I would be happy with a loose copy with a good label. I guess I will have to be willing to pay a lot for it. I wasn't willing to go $40+ on this one, but if it ends up being the last game that I need I might be willing to pay that much.

At this point I'd settle for one with a torn ripped label as long as it worked. I just want to play the damn game! :P

heh i also figured sniping 2 - 7800 auctions in one night was alittle to much so i bid earlier, but if i would have known njarf would snipe me i woulda bid more, i was hoping someone who posts here ALOT would outbid me :D

i got title match with manual for $10.50 earlier

and i also got this email from the guy i sniped it from

Quote

Heh ... gotta love people who don't bother bidding until the last minute of an auction and then have the nads to outbid by a mere fifty cents! I appreciate that and I 'll be watching your auctions in kind! ;-)

But seriously, if you ever want to trade Title Match, let me know.

but i didnt outbid him by $.50 my max bid was $15 :D

Sadly enough if I had remembered to put in my bid in time I would have got it; I was going to place a max MUCH higher than that (won't say how much). I'm much more pissed about Ikari because that's the second time in a week I lost one and it wasn't to an AtariAger (I could live with that) but to a greedy scum sucking auction cancelling SCUMBAG.

There is no way you should spend $40 on a Pal Sentinel. The game was very common in Europe and can be found on ebay really cheap. I think I paid a total of $15 for the game and shipping from Germany. I then paid an extra $20 (or $25) to have it converted to NTSC.

I ended up buying one of Tizoc's CIB conversions for $35, which even included a spiffy re-written manual. It was just cheesing me that I could have had one for about $10 ($2 + $8 S&H) and the guy cancelled the auction "due to an error in the listing." Some error, he immediately re-listed the game with a higher opening bid and a SLIGHTLY lower Buy It Now (like $149 instead of $199, and an opener of $10 instead of $1). I think the fact this guy's feedback profile is private/hidden says it all.

What a jerk. If you have an auction going and the price isn't as high as you want it to be, too bad, stick with it. I've had stuff up that I wish would've went for more, but I'd never cancel on somebody, especially since I wouldn't want an auction cancelled on me.

Exactly. If I ever put some 7800 stuff up for auction and he bid on it, I would cancel his bid immediately.

You don't have to do that, you can just add a peticular username to your "blocked" bidder list and he wouldn't even be able to place a bid. :)

Ouch! No doubt. That's only worth $400 in some eBay seller's wet dreams. Double what I paid for the 7800 auction I just won with stuff that's 10 times more common. Just look at all those Combats!! :o

He's probably going to turn around and sell the Combats as "Rare" and such. What a moron.
