I was just curious if it is possible, or if anyone has tried to use any Colecovision emulation on a hacked Wii?

And if it is possible, what is your setup for controllers? The Wiimote or classic controller?

My Wii is hacked to play ColecoVision games.... however that's really suck to play using wiimote
A CV controller adapter would be nice, but I prefer to use the real deal

I surely bough a Wii only to play Megaman 9 & 10

Is there a better emulator to use then another? Which runs best?

I tried the WiiColEm with the classic or Gamecube controler and it's OK.

Thanks for the info. I am new to this wii hack stuff.
One more question, I've been reading about the installation of the homebrew channel, which is easiest? Letterbomb? Or, the Lego Indiana Jones one?

I also use WiiColem

As for intalling the Homebrew Channel, I remember I did it using the "Twlight Hack" by using the first release of Twillight Princess (Wii Version)

If you are not sure how to hack your wii, I'll suggest to ask someone else to do it for yourself,
...so you won't mess your Wii
But even if you mess your Wii, you can always get it back to its factory setting by using some toolls

Hope it help :)

I've did it with the Lego Batman.
I think the Indy is similar.
It's pretty easy.

You copy a save game on your Wii using the SD card.
Start the game.
Load the Save game.
Go to a specific location in the game.
The game crashes and enters a "debug" mode and you install the homebrew channel...you just have to click a few buttons to install it.

PM me if you need help on this.

I had a college kid do mine, I didn't want to risk bricking. There's is a lot to be said about having things done and being the end user.
