There are non Atarivox games (Quadrun, Open seseme, and the Berzerk VE hack) that feature speech, but has anyone managed to simulate all the Phonemes on an atari. I think i remember seeing an atari programing book that talked about simulating speech, but have not been able to find it again (don't remember the name)

EDIT : it was "Advanced Programming Techniques for Your Atari Including Graphics and Voice Programs (Book/Disk Combination for Atari 400 With 16k)"..no help there

I hope there is a book about using the built-in sounds of the Atari 2600 to make phonemes (without using digitized speech). I mention every once in a while that some of the tones/frequencies already sound like a human voice. For example, you can make a T sound using tone 8, starting at frequency 31 and flipping over to zero and maybe ending at 1, 2, or 3:
