Hey guys,

When the jaguar is plugged in i get a buzzing noise, not sure if its from the supply or the speakers, its plugged into a 4 gang surge protected block, where my snes, hifi, and external hdd are plugged in. I may try an aftermarket supply but just wondered if anyone else had a noisy supply

What kind of buzz ? The Jaguar itself is known to emit a faint high-pitched sound, at least on some revisions. It's not a malfunction, just a small design problem.

its more of a hum, its not even when the jag is switched on, just when its plugged in, maybe the fact the hifi is also plugged into the same surge protector

Does the hum come from the hifi speakers, or from the PSU itself?

Since fiddling with the hifi itself, had a lose speaker connection on the back i think, it no longer hums when i plug it into the surge protector , good times
