cool, I'm actually quite surprised at the quality of Battle Morph as a package, you can see me open it in my latest jaguar video on my youtube channel, the package is actually really nicely presented, the inlay, the overlay, the disc etc, all very nice indeed. I've won a memory track and am currently watching a 6 button controller so I'm really looking forward to getting my CD drive in the next couple days!!

Robinsons Requiem, fun but frustrating survival game.

yeah, I doubt i would ever be happy with partying with £60+ for a game like that personally. I have bought blue Lightning, Battlemorph and Hover Strike, Would love to get Soul Star, Iron Soldier and a couple others but i cant find them anywhere lol

just to update those of you who have responded to this thread, I got the CD Drive finally yesterday, here is a video on my youtube of me unpacking it and then setting it up, let me know what you think! I've also uploaded videos of Battle Morph so far. I've got Iron Soldier on the way now so I'm pretty sure that I've got all the retail ones I want for now, unless Space Ace, Dragons Lair, Brain Dead 13 and Primal Rage come down a long way in price or failing that EVEN APPEAR ON EBAY ONE DAY!!! Never see any of them lol

Just pay a look at that french forum topic: http://www.gamopat-f...ghlight=jaguar.
You will easily understand it gives tons of links for homebrew files to burn on CD-R and art for CD and/or DVD box.

Pesronnaly I like a Iron Soldier II, Battlemorph, lot World Tour racing in 2 players on splitted screen, Soulstars, Vid Grid, Primal Rage, Myst and many cool homebrews such as Downfall, Jagmania, Do the Same, the Orion Collection, Slam Racer, Surrounded or the impressive Native discontinued demo...
Of course it allows to play the latest Songbird release: Robinson Requiem too.

Starcat games are on CD too such as Bomb Squad or Lost treasures compil.

Jag CD allows to play Cienpak videos as well such as Gone Nutty featuring Scrat or Big Bug bunny.

All in all there are roughly 55 CD available (including simple but addictive games, cool demos and some very useful utilities such as

Heheh... fantastic game. I always joked Atari spent all their advertising money for the Jaguar in getting great models to film that movie.

Favorite serious CD games: Battlemorph, Vid Grid, Iron Solider 2, Diamond Jag, Asteriods, Tetris, Gorf, World Tour Racing, Soul Star, Highlander, Jagmania.

I heard some hate for Highlander. It takes a minute to get used to the controls, and yes it might have been nice if they had based it on the TV series and not some weird future animated series, and yes the switching camera angles are confusing sometimes. That aside, it is fun going along hacking and slashing. And if you get the cheat codes going, you can vanquish your enemies with a RUBBER CHICKEN!! :P

I heard there was a simple version of Joust in those games. How good was it?
