We have indeed found a RELEASED Atari 2600 game made in 1983...

The game is called "Extra Terrestrials" and is a combination of (in my opinion) Freeway, E.T., and Pac-Man. The game was created in Burlington, Ontario and sold in VERY limited quantities...

Sounds like a cool game...if there are any other copies still in existence, there's no telling how much it could sell for online due to the fact that this game was sold in limited quantity. Thanks for sharing this with us! 8)

Did the lady who said she played this as a kid ever respond back? It would be good to know of a "wild" copy.

The lady said she had it but hadn't found it in her stuff yet. There was one copy in the wild that is now in our possession. Don't forget to read the followup story:

Really glad that this was finally dumped and shared. Good stuff! I only wish it had a single player mode! Too bad I can't afford a cart right now, but I'm really just happy to have the ROM in my collection at this point. Runs just fine on my emu as well.
