I've recently obtained a used red Wii from GameStop and it has quickly become one of my favorite systems. So far I've been enjoying Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes 2, and Madworld. For a month or so before I got my Wii, I've watched and read a lot of game reviews from various sources. So I have a general idea of what I want, and feel I'm off to a pretty good start, but still have a few questions.
What I don't know about is the online community for games like Goldeneye and The Conduit series. Is it very difficult to find a decent sized game and are they fun to play online? Fun as in less chaotic than the Call of Duty series. So what be the ideal choice between Goldeneye, The Conduit, and The Conduit 2? I was leaning slightly toward Goldeneye because of the splitscreen multiplayer and it can use Gamecube controllers. Though The Conduit is the cheapest, I don't know if people still play online and I don't know what game out of the three is the most fun offline and online.
Also, are there any must have Wiiware titles? I've already looked into the Bit. Trip series and plan on getting Bit. Trip Complete someday when it comes down in price. Lastly, for a platformer I've been wanting to get Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Galaxy, and Wario Land: Shake It. Out of the three, what would be best to start out with? Is Donkey Kong Country Returns, which I really liked the most from what I've watched, that insanely difficult and frustrating? I'm not the biggest platformer fan or player. I do enjoy them but I'm not a master.
Any input would be appreciated.
