I mean the game is not rare at all, there are dozens listed on ebay at any given time, i am not an N64 person but always wondered why this non rare game always seems to sell from $30 to $50 loose and more in the box, is it just very popular or what? this may be a stupid question to many of you who collect for many systems, but i have mostly been into the Atari stuff and a few others, never got into the N64, thought i would throw the question out there.

Yeah it's just a popular game, much like Final Fantasy VII is. Abundant, but expensive.

I'd say it's the popularity. Sounds similar to Castlevania SOTN. There are usually around 100 copies on Ebay at any moment and it can still go for $30-50

Can't imagine why. The game's (almost literally) a load of crap. There's a reason the demo for the XBOX version used one of the shooter levels. The entire first 3/4 of the game is crap.

I picked this one up years ago at Toys 'R' Us when they literally had stacks of them in the bargain bin. I think it cost me $8 or something like that.

People like juvenile stuff passing itself off as "mature entertainment", what do you expect?

Sorry, but the potty humor in this game was great. The movie references are obviously outdated a decade later, but nonetheless for anyone of the proper age they are still great fun. Finally, it's a great platformer in the traditional Rare fashion. If you like the Banjo games, then this one is the same great fun but for the parents.

Just my opinion.

Most people who still own a N64 like myself, will never sell that game! Sure, there are a lot of copies made...but people tend to keep them, which drives up the price for collectors.

That said, I prefer the Xbox remake personally.

Quoth the great Louis CK. "You don't have to be smart to laugh at fart jokes, but you have to be stupid not to"
