I really like the 7800(everything but the sound)and just wanted to take a little survey to see which 7800 game is the most beloved.I only have 15 games but my favorite so far has to be Food Fight.

Food Fight is great, but I'd have to say the game I play the most is Asteroids, with Galaga coming in second.

I'm just getting into the 7800 and, like most of the others, so far I'd have to say it's Food Fight. But I'm open to trying new games and hoping I'll find some other unique classics on there.

PacMan Collection and Mean 18 get the most play on my machine. With Q*Bert and Burgertime homebrews next in line. I think the reason I like Mean 18 so much is that it reminds me over Leaderboard Golf on the C= 64.

I think Mean 18 is much easier to find than Tank Command although they are the same rarity here at AA. I know the price difference doesn't have anything to do with rarity but Mean 18 just seems to pop up way more often than Tank Command. And, Mean 18 is a lot easier to find CIB than Tank Command, I have had quite a few that I have traded or resold.

I know I'm a bit off topic here but what do you guys think?

Let me know if you ever come across a copy of mean 18 with a manual. I looooove golf games and I'd love to get a hold of this one.

Joust, just because it's by far the best home port of the game I have ever played.

Food Fight is by far my favorite 7800 game. Other than the XE version I don't know of another machine that has a home port of it. I'm also a huge fan of 7800 Centipede, Asteroids, Robotron, Galaga, and Ball Blazer. Actually pretty much all the arcade ports are very well done. Even Rampage is enjoyable despite its "Muppet Babies" look to the monsters. :)

Commando is my #1 favorite 7800 game. It's the main reason I got back into Atari after many years of having nothing but broken down controllers.

My favorite is Fatal Run, with food Fight and Robotron tied for 2nd. Don't be afraid to try a game with a bad reputation/review, if you can find it cheap enough.

Speaking of games with a bad reputation, Planet Smashers is one of my favorites on the 7800. Others I like a great deal include: Desert Falcon, Cracked, and of course, the ports of Centipede and Galaga.

I'm looking forward to trying Fatal Run and Alien Brigade.....

I've actually got 7800 Dig Dug coming. I don't think it's going to dethrone Commando, but I loved playing the arcade version. I broke the joystick on the same cabinet twice :)

My faves would be Ms Pacman, Dark Chambers, & Centipede. Best ports of each that I've yet played. :)
