Speaking with another member over the last few days, we were wondering if there are any shows/conventions coming to the east coast or somewhere else where Atariagers meet up?

Does atariage.com ever participate in video gaming conventions by sponsoring a booth?

Personally, I'd definitely love to help volunteer to work an atariage.com booth to push the site and homebrew projects. Play a few games, sell some merch - nerd out with my bird out.

With such a vibrant fan and homebrew community, I feel like something like this would be pretty cool and attract people.

MAGfest comes to the DC area every winter. It's gotten pretty large in recent years.

I know Atariage did participate in the past in video game conventions. Atariage actually had a booth at Class Gaming Expo 2010. They also were a sponsor of the Midwest gaming classic and had a booth there.

probably in a month; though Al doesn't sell things at the Houston Arcade Expo, he just sets up a bunch of consoles. He will bring a box for you though, I got all my 7800 homebrews at last years event. I'm surprised Pinballz isn't in the sponsor list as well.

AtariAge has been at our Portland Retro Gaming Expo couple of years ago and Al says he plans on coming again maybe next year.

Not a show as such, but Joe Santulli hosts NAVA meetings at the Digital Press store in northern NJ every month. http://www.digitpress.com/nava/

He's had the AVGN there as well as a few industry luminaries. Mostly it is a chance to get together, trade, and play games, and you can also see parts of the museum that Joe and co. are planning on opening in CA in the future.
