If it's anything like the GameBoy Advance version, it'll be set in prehistoric times, with pterodactyls as foes.

This is pretty swell, though. Those sound effects are arcade perfect... I'm really amazed at just what can be squeezed out of the Vex's sound chip. The game itself looks fantastic as well, and I'd bet it plays like a dream with the system's analog controller.

Got mine (#074) today. Great game. It's really amazing how many good homebrew games are available for this machine!

When I last had contact with Kristof he said that this week he would have the order page up on his website.

However, if you want to pre-empt that, just type Vector Pilot in Google and you will see a page from his site with the ordering information

WOW! first time I got to see the video of this. I was puzzled about all the nice colors (Isn't the Vectrex b&w, I thought?) until I realized it was via clever use of an overlay. Since the ship is always in the center you have nice opportunity to have different colors in this game. I have only seen a Vectrex for sale once (at Philly classic 2001). Cheers to the developers!

I got mine Monday and I was shocked to receive it so quickly.

Anyway, this game is awesome. I think this version is better than the arcade game as the developer has put his own unique touches into the game that takes it up a notch. I won't spoil the surprises, but I think those who ordered it will be very pleased with it.

It certainly looks cool from the videos I've seen but I'm anticipating Warrior will be my new Vectrex joy when it arrives.

One quick question, any slow down? When I'm playing one of the many Asteroids clones people have made, I find the Vectrex really can't handle so many rocks on the screen and it tends to slow down a bit when there's a lot happening. How is this Time Pilot game for slow down?

Thanks ComputerSpaceFan. It is being released a bit later than expected, but my intention is to create a game that is above and beyond anything I've ever done on the Vectrex, a game that many people will call their personal favorite. That's my goal. There will be a couple of new images added this week to my Warrior page, displaying two of the new Warriors that will be in the single-player game. This, of course, is what's taking all of the extra time. With many new Warriors to fight and each one having unique attributes, it's been a lot of work. But totally worth it : ) Thanks for hanging in there everybody, your patience is greatly appreciated!

There's minimal slowdown when 7-8 planes are on screen at the same time, but that doesn't happen very often, usually because you are shooting them heh. Trust me, the game runs pretty smoothly most of the time ;)

Just out of curiosity and assuming that you live in North America, just how long did it take to receive your copy?

Thanks
