Hi

An update of the IDE Plus ROM BIOS to v.0.9 is available here:

http://drac030.krap....kmkjz-pliki.php

Despite some bugfixes, the BIOS contains an ATR handler, which allows to load ATR files from the built-in binary loader, and also access their contents from within SpartaDOS X.

Cheers - I didn't get around to trying out the "leaked" one you sent me. But I'll try and get updated soon. Haven't spent much quality Atari time lately.

The updated BIOS also allows to update Eddy, the sector editor for SpartaDOS X. Download here:

http://drac030.krap....parta-pliki.php

Works best with the S_VBXE.SYS driver loaded (but will be usable without, too): http://drac030.krap....-vbxe-pliki.php

There is special support for IDE Plus (BIOS v.0.9 is required) and SIDE.

Looks less or more like this:

I'm slightly disappointed - the third screen in the original post made me suspect the chest was female. :)

Could you elaborate on this? What are you doing and what says the error message, which appears (if any does appear).

This is just with Altirra Emulator.
Drive B is set as SIO drive but Partitions are not seen.

This is just with Altirra Emulator. Drive B is set as SIO drive but Partitions are not seen.

This is an emulator-specific problem. Try disabling the SIO Patch option or enabling SIO Override Detection. The problem is that the emulator is intercepting the SIO disk requests that are supposed to go to the IDE drive before the IDEPlus firmware can see them. The SIO Override Detection option causes the emulator to let one disk access through as a test to see if PBI firmware is handling a disk drive number.

Yes this information corrects the problem I was having.

Thank You
